PPS Awarded Access and Identity Management Systems Contract (AIMS), Federal Student Aid, Department of Education

The Department of Education, Office of Federal Student Aid (FSA) just awarded the Access and Identity Management System (AIMS) contract to PPS InfoTech to continue the operations and maintenance of AIMS.  The contract begins on August 1, 2019 with one base year and four option years.

AIMS provides identity authentication and access services to FSA applications for FSA partners, employees and Contractors.  AIMS is comprised of tools, technologies, and protocols that ensure secure access of systems across the enterprise, in particular, for identity and access management.  AIMS provide consistent access control, authorization and auditing across the entire FSA enterprise.

AIMS provides an active sync between the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) and the CyberArk Active Directory (AD) for identifying privileged users accessing FSA systems, networks, servers, and applications.
