Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) is a model for development organizations originally developed by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) and now managed by the CMMI Institute, a unit of ISACA. CMMI is a process framework approach that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve their performance. CMMI can be used to guide process improvement across a project, a division, or an entire organization. It helps to integrate traditionally separate organizational functions, to set process improvement goals and priorities, to provide guidance for quality processes, and to provide a point of reference for appraising current processes.

In 2009, PPS InfoTech LLC proved our commitment to high quality and process improvement when we were appraised at Maturity Level 3 for Development, providing evidence that we had established well-defined, repeatable and effective organizational processes that can be broadly grouped as Project Management, Engineering, Support and Process Management.

In 2012 and 2015, PPS again received positive appraisals. Most recently, in April 2018, we once again earned a positive appraisal for Development, and added an appraisal for Services at Maturity Level 2, again affirming our commitment to continuous process and quality improvement.
